About Photographs..
The examples of plates with photographs glazed onto the china on our website use professionally taken photographs. If you send us a photo, please be aware that we cannot work miracles!
If you send us an old black and white photo of a wedding 50 years ago we can usually remove any scratches and imperfections. However, if you are sending a recent photo of someone with black hair and the background is very dark, the hair is not going to stand out.
We can convert the image into a circle to fit the plate, so there is no need for you to do this.
Ideally the image should be a jpeg, or any format that can be opened in PhotoShop. The dpi (dots per inch) should ideally be at least 300. The image should be large enough to fit the space on the plate. We can of course increase the size, but the image will be then often look blurred.
If in doubt you can always send the photo for us to look at before ordering.
